Sirens and the Cookies chose the Destro Helmets for 2010/2011 season

The Sirens and the Tough Cookies chose the S-One Destro Helmet for their 2010/2011 LA Derby Dolls Season.

More and more roller derby girls are choosing the hard foam (cpsc certified) helmets over the soft foam (non-cpsc) helmets because the hard foam helmets absorb more shock and offer much more protection. In the past, the hard foam helmets fit a bit high and the girls wanted a lower fitting helmet so they wore the soft foam helmets. But the Destro Helmet is a hard foam helmet but it fits nice and low on the head. It is a nice combination of protection and fit.

Heimana Reynolds won Next X on Disney Channel

Heimana won the Next X award on the Disney Channel. I don't know alot about it but I know Rune Glifberg and Bucky Lasek were mentoring young skaters.

The new S-One Destro Helmet is touted as the best fitting CPSC certified helmet on the market. It fits nice and low on your head so it doesn't look goofy.

The S-One Kid Helmet will also be on display at the Crossroads Tradeshow. The Kid Helmet is perfect little helmet for younger skaters between the ages of 5 -11.

The S-One Kid Helmet. A great helmet for skaters between the ages of 5 and 11. It has been known to fit skaters that are ages 3 and 4 but that is off label. It is only CPSC certified for ages 5 - 11.

The Destro Helmet is CPSC certified and fits low on the head. Great fit and great protection. A true classic.
