Westwood CA How old were you when you started skating? 8 years old How / why did you start skating? My dad and uncle skated and they had boards lying around. Memorable stories about when you first started skating? The first month of skating I broke my wrist in three places. I hit a rock in a local park (not a skatepark). Where do you like to skate? Vans, Etnies, Belmars Pool, and Culver City. Who are some of your favorite skaters (old or young) and why? Ben Raybourn (so unique with his skateboard), Josh Stafford (smooth, but gnarly), Kevin Kowalski (no pads at 100 mph), Lance Mountain (one of the nicest guys in skateboarding), and Salba (because he is the line guru in the combi) What is your current set up? Craziest story or occurance at the Cove skatepark: The craziest thing that ever happened at the cove was when my pads stuck on a knee slide and I knocked out my front two teeth. |
