Skating the Fruchtallee "Fruit Bowl" in Hamburg

The invert and smith grind pics are from the Fruchtallee "Fruit Bowl" in
Hamburg, Germany... the bowl was built by the city and was finished this
summer 2009... there's not a lot to skate in Hamburg, so it's a positive
progression that the city has built this bowl. - Lester Kasai

Lester Kasai skating Neumuenster, Germany "40 Love"

The "40 Love" pipe in Neumuenster, Germany is one of the oldest standing
concrete pipes in Germany... it was built sometime in the early 80's... the
pipe is just sitting in a private tennis court facility... it's around 13
feet high, maybe 12 feet wide and it has about 3.5 feet of oververt... it's a sight to see.

Skateboard Wrist Guards

S-One Damager Control Wrist Guard

These are high quality skateboard wrist guards. They are not designed for sliding on your wrists. They are designed to protect your wrists. They are super comfortable. They are medically and anatomically designed. They do not have a top splint. Any wrist guard with a top splint was designed by a non-skater because most skaters know that if you have a top splint you will break your wrist right where the wrist gaurd ends (half way up your arm). (Back in the 80's all the wrist guards would come with top splints and we would take them out.)

Lester Kasai puts Shoe Goo on the Damage Control wrist guards when they start to wear through the palm area. Lester has been wearing the same wrist guards for the last 2 years. The Shoe Goo really helps extend the life of the wrist guard.

Over the years many pro skaters have worn the S-One Wrist Guard. Here is short list of some skaters that have worn the Damager Control Wrist Guard when they needed to protect a wrist: Salman Agah, Pat Duffy, Kurtis Colamonico, Spencer Fujimoto, Don "The Nuge" Nguyen, Tyler Hansen, Lester Kasai. (these are just the pros that I can think of right now).

THE BEST SKATE HELMET YET?

Adrian Demain thought of this concept back in the early 80's. It took us a while to finally release it. :)
The Og Dlx Helmet might possibly be the best skate helmet available.

THE HISTORY BEHIND THE S-ONE DLX TERRY LINER
“Back around 1986 or so Neil Blender would cut the sleeves off his old shirts and wear them on his head under his
helmet. This was the birth of the head gasket. I decided to take it a step further and cut up a shirt and
wrapped it around my helmet padding. I couldn’t sew so I just used duct tape. I actually did that for years.”
